My wife and I finally decided to take the plunge and replace all of our windows in our home. Our house was built in the late 1950's, so replacement was long overdue. We were referred to Great Lakes by some friends of ours, who have used this company in the past for window replacement. Thomas came out listened to our needs, then gave us a thorough education on the products that they offer and specialize in. Simply put, the Sunrise Restorations window line matches or exceeds the specs of the other high-end window manufacturers while costing less. Great Lakes Home Renovations is the only company certified to perform installation of this product. After much discussion and evaluation of alternative products, we decided to use this company for our window replacement needs. A few days later, Ozzie came out and performed precise measurements of our window openings, and took down all of the specs for the products that we were slated to receive. As a result, this job happened without a hitch (see below). It took 6-7 weeks for our windows to be custom-built. Once this was complete, I was contacted by the installer, Joe. He walked me through the process of how/when the install was going to happen. A few days later, Joe and his crew of Noah and Clint, showed up to begin the old window tear-out, and new window install. They performed both of these functions on 22 of our 23 windows in one day!! They returned the following day to tear out/install the remaining window, along with finishing work on all windows. I originally did not expect this job to be finished in 2 days, so this was a pleasant surprise. Add to that, this crew is knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and clean up well after themselves. If you are in the market for replacement windows, I would highly recommend contacting this company! Professional, top to bottom!

Comment: Travis our installer was great. You don't see many young people who want to work and take pride in what they are doing. Did are shower like it was his own. What a nice young man.

We turned to Great Lakes Home Renovations to install a new shower in our upstairs bathroom. We met the company at the Home & Remodeling show at U.S. Bank Stadium. From beginning to end, the staff was professional, courteous, prompt and through in all aspects of the job. We were given clear choices and a clear timeline of when we could expect the job to be finished. Even though it was a tiny shower, Great Lakes completed the job above and beyond our expectations. The finish product is fantastic - we now have a working shower in our upstairs bathroom for the first time in more than four years! We are confident in turning to GLHR for any future projects we may consider for the future!

Josh and the rest of the Great Lakes crew changed an outdated, cramped, and ugly bathroom into what feels like a larger, more functional and great looking bathroom. I appreciated all the insight and recommendations Josh had to offer when a decision needed to be made. Each day I came home from work, I couldn’t believe how much the bathroom had changed since the time I left. I like that they cleaned up the work site at the end of each day. Scheduling was very flexible and the project was completed within the timeline they gave me. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the first renovation to my first house.

Great Lakes did a great job with our bathtub/shower install. They were quick to come out and show us the product, spent a lot of time helping us make the decision and did a great job installing. Very responsive and the product looks great. I would recommend them.

Great Lakes Home Renovations is top notch. I found them at a Healthy Living Expo and signed up for a home visit to look at replacing my windows. My house is 40 years old and I had old, wood-framed windows that were leaking and falling apart. Thomas came to the house and spent as much time as I needed, going over their product and answering my questions. Communication from the time I ordered the windows to delivery and installation was great. When Joe and Steve showed up yesterday to install, I was ready! Absolutely wonderful workmanship! Guys were great to work with and the job was completed ahead of schedule and impeccably done. I love my new windows! I can't wait until the trim is painted. I recommend this company to anyone!

Our installers were great. On time curtious professional and went out of their way to see to my demands. We did have a small issue with the scheduler Brandan. He was unable to meet the time frame we were promised. However I wouldn’t let that get in your way with making the decision to go with Great Lakes. The product is beautiful. I love it!

The crew was very courteous, informative, constantly on the job checking with us as needed, quiet as possible, and left a clean job site. Kudos to Brent for excellent job management and to Jesse for being so professional that we had no clue that this job was his first project with Great Lakes.

It has been a pleasure working with GLHR on my recent 8 window installation in my condo unit. From selection (Gary) to measurement (Ozzie) to scheduling (Scott and Brandon) to the installation itself (Joe and Ali)—everyone has been remarkably friendly, thorough, skilled, and professional. Joe and Ali were on the job over 10 hours today yet were still smiling at the end. True craftsmanship. I strongly recommend GLHR for anyone’s renovation needs. I’m so very glad that I called them!

The installers and customer service are great. However I do have concerns about the quality of the product. My initial installation the installer noticed some pieces were bowed. He put the replacement parts on order. We waited additional weeks for the pieces to be made... The second attempt arrives, all pieces fit together correctly... except one of the pieces has a crack in the glass. I'm currently waiting for the replacement piece. Hopefully the third time is the charm (will update). The windows look good and the customer service has been great and helpful through this process.
