Excelent work all around. Gary explained the windows in a way we could follow and clearly understand. Measurements taken with great care. Joe took a full day to replace 4 Windows in our 1920/30 home. Took care to repair all rotten wood and seal up all nooks and crannies. Fabulous work!

Great Lakes delivered my French doors early and did a very nice job with the installation even though the job was challenging - my house was built in 1900. I love the door more than I expected! It looks great and feels solid, works great.

We hired Great Lakes to install a bay window in front of our house. The end product is beautiful and well insulated, but with a few touch ups needed. The installation was way easier than we expected. Everything was torn out and the new window installed in less than a day. It hasn't gotten that cold yet, but already the new window keeps the room much warmer even with the overhang.

Hi All, my wife and I originally saw GLHR at Dakota County Fair. At that time we were looking at doing are master bath and liked the look and ease of maintenance of their product line. We scheduled an appointment for consultation and estimate. We then set a time to get started and put down a deposit for job materials. Well best laid plans on an older house can cause change. A leak in kitchen pluming and discovery of other issues dictated a change. Thats when GLHR stepped up and worked with us to change from them doing bath to kitchen, AWESOME. In process of doing remodel as usual in older homes they did great at solutions to those bumps in the road. End result nice looking, much more use of space, easier clean up, great price, quality job, nice warranty. By dealing in change of contracted signed job which most companies would not do and legally would not have had to they should customer service is top priority when things come up we are not in control off. THANKS again for helping in a tough situation , adapting, and the extra customer service. P.S. Once we get finance back in order we look forward to that bathroom. Dan&Ernestine Hoffman.

We are so happy with our bath tub/shower remodel! Right from the first interaction at the Dakota County fair, we have been beyond happy with the service and professionalism of Great Lakes Home Renovation! Simply fantastic!!

Love the finished product. 😗 Rick had such knowledge and gave us ideas and choices. My husband wanted the big and long walk- in -shower and Rick checked it all out, called for a check that it could be done. He made sure The pattern of The shower walls and The new softer floor matched The counter that we didn't want to replace. The work crew were great. They kept all of the mess in the bathroom, made sure my nosey dog didn't get out, and kept my husband up to date regarding what they were getting done. JOSH was such a Great guy. He solved little problems that came up in our bathroom and gave us a quality product. The electrition put in cealing lighting just where my husband wanted and in fact he gave us an estimate on another electrical project we wanted done and we did have his company do that job for us. Josh made sure the safety rails were securely attached to a 2 by 2 and ask me for info regarding how far apart to put the shelved. ALL in all it is beautiful, very functional, we are. Very satisfied. 😁😉

Comment: Wow! Tony and Andrew were excellent- Had Onyx shower and vanity tops installed and they did a better job than the original builder.

Joe was AWESOME! He was super knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and had my new windows installed so fast! My whole experience with Great Lakes home renovations was flawless!

It was time to replace the 40 year old windows in our home. We had several quotes come in. Great Lakes came in, showed us their windows, explained them very well, their process, warranty and everything else about the windows. We were given a very good price on the windows in comparison to pretty much every other company we looked at. The only thing I didn't care for was that we needed to sign up on the spot or we wouldn't get the price quoted so be prepared for that. Beyond windows costing a lot of money it was an easy decision as the cost was good and the quality of the windows is very good. Installation of the windows went extremely well! Our installers were great! They got everything done in two days. They used drop cloths throughout the house, cleaned up each area they worked in as they went along, explained what they were doing and why when I inquired, gave me updates on timeframe as each day went along, explained exactly how the windows worked, how much prep they did on each window and why and in general were pretty good company to have around for two days. With the exception of a little bit of sawdust on our driveway and having brand new windows you'd hardly know they were ever here. I firmly believe they take pride in their work and in doing the job right. It's only been a few days but so far the windows seem really great! Way less outside sound than before, rooms have stayed a much more consistent temperature, better airflow when the windows are open and even though the openings are the same size we have much more window to look out of than before so each room feels a bigger.

Had our bathtub removed and a new shower installed with Onyx. The guys that installed were very friendly and professional. They were very good at covering my floors and stairs with tarps to keep the mess to a minimum. Had a delay on the first day waiting for the plumber to get there (his truck broke down), so the 2 day job might have been accomplished in 1.5 instead, but they did a great job and we are very happy.
