It was pretty good. Every one was great. We did have one problem though, one of the doors that we ordered were not the ones that were delivered. They had to take those back and re-order them which took another three months. We were a little unhappy with that but as far as the company goes, they seemed to be pretty stand up guys. They were expensive- they were not cheap.

They were very professional. In the estimate, they added that they would replace any wood needed in the bay window area. When we got in there it was much more extensive than we had thought; but, with no problem, they replaced it and no extra charge. The work was done on time, and done well. They answered all of our questions and even gave some suggestions.

Everything was great. They need to re-caulk, and they were very agreeable about that. They came within a day to caulk the inside, and will come back in the spring to do the outside. Their price was the best that I got, and they did high quality work. They are very responsive, and I was very happy with them. Patrick was awesome, and I will definitely consider them again.

What an improvement! Replaced our single pane metal windows with dual-paned vinyl windows....quieter, no drafts, looks better! Had several quotes, chose Great Lakes. One of the custom-made slider windows didn't lock sufficiently, so it was redone and all is well.

I have had a great experience getting 7 of my many windows replaced. Very professional service with attention to detail and cleaning up after finished installing. I can't wait to afford the remaining windows!

I was most satisfied with the first presentation, it was very professional. The salesman did an excellent job showing the product. The installers were very hard workers and totally cleaned up every night before leaving the sight. I was totally pleased.

We weren't planning to replace windows at this time, but circumstance required it. Great Lakes Windows & Siding gave us a great price on a great brand of windows. We had three other bids, and chose Great Lakes because of price, window quality, and professionalism. The guy who came to measure our windows was very professional and friendly. He went over the whole installation process and told us what we needed to do to prepare - including adding smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to pass inspection. Everything is custom-made, so we had to wait about 5 weeks while the windows were being made. They called when the windows were on the truck, and we made a point to be available the first day they could install. The installers were professional and explained what they were doing. They were also VERY clean, covering our floor before taking a step inside our house and covering the work zone with plastic sheeting to protect the inside of our house. The installers were punctual and easily finished the job in half of one day. They also rebuilt the space between two of the windows where the wood was rotting. The outside wrap looks fantastic, and our new windows are even more energy efficient. We are thrilled to have maintained the character of our home (built in 1900) with new windows. The wood grain finish matches our trim perfectly. The windows on our main floor were original, and the new windows feel so much bigger because we have more glass. The vinyl sides are quite narrow, which opens the window more than we expected it could.

Replaced a large window in the master bathroom and a privacy window in the master bath. Initial consultation was very good. He provided me with different options and explained everything very well. Installation was supposed to occur on a Tuesday afternoon, but another job ran over so it was rescheduled for that Friday which was an inconvenience as I had already arranged my work schedule. However, the installer was very professional and apologized for rescheduling. The installers were fast, high quality, and cleaned everything up very well. He also explained how the windows worked and made sure I didn't have any other questions. I will be using them again this spring as I continue to replace windows in my house. I recommend them highly!

They let us know a couple of days ahead when they would be out to start the work. They were at our house and on time as stated. The work went well, and everything was done in a timely manner as stated by the company. The workers were nice and respectful of our house and our time. The windows are put together like a vault and we are looking forward to many years of well functioning windows. The door is very tight and secure. We would use this company again.

Overall I was very pleased with my experience with Great Lakes Windows and Siding. First the cons...the sales pitch was lengthy and could have been shortened significantly. Second, the door had a noticable issue when opening and closing but the installer didn't address it even when pointed out. That's all the cons. The pros... They had a 25% off MN state fair discount which helped considerably and was the deal-maker for us. Also, when I called a few days after the install to address the issue with the door opening and closing they were very sympathetic and apologetic and readily remedied the issue. Also, the scheduling of the install was very professional and the crew arrived at the right time, did a great job on the install, and cleaned up well after they left. We love our door and would definitely use them again.

That service turned out very well. We are very pleased. They did a great job. The part they did for us it took 1 week. I worked with a sales person first, who has some basic knowledge. We did have an unusual set up, so when the installers came out it took them awhile to do some planing. I feel like there could have been a better way for them to work through that, instead of using time in our house doing that. They did show up on time and they cleaned up after themselves. They were good about keeping us up to date and they communicated well. They were also contentious when they did the demolition too. The price was also appropriate for what we got.

That turned out beautifully. Everything was wonderful. It took them only one day to do the installation. I also referred my neighbor and a couple weeks later I had a check in the mail, which was $100! I loved my sales man, the installation guy was great and I was very happy with them.

That turned out alright. I am a repeat customer with them. I wanted to make sure the windows match so that is why I went back with them. They were a good company. There were some issues, but they have since then been resolved. I would give them an A- or B+. They do also have good warranty and we like the product. They stand behind their work.

The windows (Sunrise brand) were custom made to the exact measurements taken. Measurement is a critical step for getting windows (as I have learned the hard way). As a DIY'er I first attempted to remove and install a window myself. It didn't go well. Buying windows at retail and shimming them to fit is not a good idea for a house you plan to live in. I learned the hardest way possible, by trying and failing. So I called Great Lakes windows. Salesman came, Thomas. Great product demo. Worked with us on price and was fair. Great Lakes put in a rush order for us because I had ruined one of the window installs already (DIY job) and we had a boarded up window facing the street. Nice, right? It still took several weeks because each window is made to spec. And I saw for myself they are within 2mm of the opening. Makes life easier for the installer, and is also easier to reliably seal. Also way impressive considering I was lucky to buy a window at retail within even 2 inches of the opening size. The windows are expensive compared to retail stores and even local competitors. But they are of high quality. If you are going to live in the place where you're getting windows installed, consider the liveability factor if you're thinking of going on the cheap. Installer was friendly. Said he usually works with a helper, but was still able to get the 3 windows in with no issue.
