Joe was our installer for our window project. I could not speak more highly of him. The first time he came out, we were having a garage sale while they worked in the home. He made sure to tarp everything inside, and outside. We had small kids running in the yard, and he was very aware of their presence and made sure to keep everything safe. Our dog escaped during the process, and Joe's co worker chased him down and brought him back to us. Joe explained all of the windows to us, how they worked and went through a thorough presentation. They cleaned up the windows and all of the items so there was nothing to worry about afterwards. Our custom windows did not have the framing, so they needed to come back a second time. Joe came out and again treated us so respectfully. He tarped everything, explained the process, and again went above and beyond on the clean up process. Very thankful for this wonderful experience, and love our Restoration Windows that bring efficiency, but keep the classic look of our 1920s home.

Great Lakes homes was excellent from the start. Their salesman was patient with us and out small children, game us the facts and talked about the work they would do. The financing couldn’t have been easier or more affordable. The installers were friendly and efficient. They took great care to not expose our home to the cold outside or the debris from removing the old windows. We were delighted at all stages and would use them again.

We had all of our windows replaced by Great Lakes Window and Siding and qe could not be happier withbthe results!!!! Fast and professional service! Joe was extremely kind and friendly!

Comment: Travis our installer did a great job! He installed a bath wrap in our shower stall and an onyx counter top in the bathroom. Travis took pride in his work and it showed- it turned out beautiful. He was a very nice guy- joy to have at the house.

Comment: Our experience with a patio door install could not have been better, from ordering to install. Joe arrived on time, removed old and installed new door in record time. He was friendly and very knowledgeable of the product he was installing. Once installed he flawlessly installed custom trim and did the best cleanup I’ve ever experienced. We will have him back for a front door install in the near future.

Just had 3 windows done. Guys were good and professional. They kept everything clean and warm and made everything look and fit very well. It was a full day of work on this old farm house that turned out great.

New kitchen cupboards and counters look great! Sales guy was willing to come out with only a day and a halfs notice. They were flexible with our request on when to start the renovation, which allowed us to figure out cash flow and financing. Upon start of the project, the installers were professional, flexible and timely. They cleaned up the work everyday before leaving. I loved the fact that my husband and I didn’t have to take tons of time off of work to get the project done. Lastly we were without of a kitchen for only a week and a half, including a weekend and holiday. I will recommend them to anyone who wishes to get a kitchen upgrade!

Travis did a fantastic job with the install of our bathtub and backsplash. He was detailed oriented and great at communication though the entire process. The customer service has been top notch and we are very happy with the install and service provided.

A great company to do business with. From Ashley, who listened to our wants and needs and gave a great presentation as to how our bathroom would look, to Bob, who came out to do the measuring and offered up some great suggestions, to Mike, who lead the construction process. Mike and his team were prompt and hard working, always kept us in the loop as to what was going on. Mike was always open to job discussion and was a perfectionist with an eye for detail! Thank you!

Great Lakes recently replaced several windows and a patio door in our home. Their entire team (sales, service & installation) were highly professional and easy to work with. What sold us was the overall quality and look of the windows (Sunrise Restorations), as well as the lifetime warranty on both the window and the installation. The installers (Joe and Noah) did a fantastic job! They were very meticulous and fun to work with. I would definitely recommend Great Lakes!

From the very beginning of the project through the end of the project, Great Lakes Home Renovations were wonderful. We met them at the Eagan Art Fair and quickly set up an appointment for a new walk out basement door. Every person that we spoke with and met face to face was a pure joy to work with. You can tell that customer service is a high priority (which is hard to find in abundance these days!). Their product is high quality and the installers were efficient and knowledgeable. I would recommend Great Lakes to anyone - such a great team!

I had 4 windows installed 3 years ago and am very, very pleased with the results. I'd had quotes from other companies; Great Lakes acted like they really cared about me as a person more than the bottom line of selling expensive windows. I was not home when the windows were installed; however, my father reported that the installer was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. The grate on the middle window had been accidentally custom made going horizontal instead of vertical; the company immediately made the correct window and installed it as soon as it was finished. Then the bottom window cracked as soon as frost hit (I've worked with glass as a picture framer and am familiar with the nature of glass - it was cracked but did not impact the effectiveness of the window); Great Lakes immediately made a replacement. I have had no problems since. Perhaps the best part is that they don't call me every year trying to sell new stuff. I did contact them a year ago inquiring about a bath remodel, but my project is not something they were able to do (I have an old, unique house). They did not use the situation to try to sell me something else. When I have enough saved up to replace more windows, they are the first company I will call.

This company bent over backwards to redo our tub/shower installation at no charge to us. Very satisfied with the results. Highly recommended.

Replaced two sets of windows and a sliding door and at a good price. Better yet were the two young men that did the work. They took their time to do an excellent job. They cleaned up the entire area when completed, explained the warranty, showed how everything operated leaving us with no questions. If you need me to say something negative, it would be that this was done yesterday and time will tell me if indeed these windows and door are as good as we expect, and I'm confident that they will. Consider this a full recommendation to you, if you need to replace windows.
