Comment:
We were looking at several different Companies to do a complete Bathroom remodel and we gave Great Lakes the first opportunity.
A Salesman named Justin, came to our House and showed us what Great Lakes had to offer. We collectively designed a Bathroom that would exceed our expectations. One of my few request, that would "Make, or Break" the deal was; (1.) The Cabinets, Vanity and Medicine Cainets had to be made out of Solid Wood, with no Particleboard, or Plywood under Veneer Wood. (2) We need to have a functional Shower in a day. We have a 1.5 Bathroom House. Justin said that he may not be able to make that happen in on day, but possibly in 2 days. I agreed to 1 to 2 days to have a functuonal Shower. The job cost about $17,000.00 and gave Justin $10,000.00 "Cash," as a down payment. Josh did mention later on, for us to get a "One free week," Gym membership, to use the Showers. Then, cancel the membership when our Bathroom remodeling job is done. We don't treat and use people that way.
The Bathroom remodeling project started on December 2nd and today is now December 6th. The job is complete and Ben and Josh just left our House at 1740 hours. It was not possible to have a functional Shower till December 6th. So, that was an EPIC FAIL and a FULL ON LIE, what Justin and I talked about and agreed too. One to two days, turned into 5 days, without a Shower.
Ben and Josh were assigned to our Bathroom remodeling project. These two guys worked in perfect synchronization during the entire process. Ben and Josh know what they are doing and stayed on a structured timeline. Great guys to talk with and share life experiences. I only wished that I had one full day to prime and paint the walls and ceiling. I actually stayed up all night on December 5th, to prime the walls and ceiling twice. I also Painted the walls that night, but was experiencing dust embedding into the paint. So, I had to sand down those areas that were contaminated and paint them again. I never had time to paint the Ceiling and would not have that finished when Ben and Josh show up in the early morning. So, I still have a Ceiling to paint. The Bathroom looks amazing and Ben and Josh did superior work and installation. I'm very happy and satisfied with Ben and Josh. These are the kind of people that gives a Company it's reputation. Justin on the other hand is a Salesman and wanted to make "The sale." What Justin and I talked about, pertaining to a shower in 1-2 days, NEVER HAPPENED. Typical Salesman? I don't know for sure. My advise to any Salesperson, don't say somerhing to a customer, if you can't make it happen. Do not mislead customersn in believing in something that is not true. That is unacceptable and dishonest. Moreover, this is what gives a Company a bad name and especially in the competitive market. -
