Below are some examples of bathroom remodeling projects we have completed. We are very proud to show real examples of our work and hope you can find some great ideas and inspiration for your project
This 1929 home was remodeled to sell. Part of the remodel was a newly tiled bathtub surround and floor. The tile in the surround was covering a window that had been above the bathtub. The remodelers did not cover the window properly and did a terrible job on the tile which lead to severe water intrusion and rotten wood. The new owner knew that the bathroom could be easier to clean and maintain and more beautiful with an update. We removed the tile which uncovered the severe rot. The rot we discovered was way beyond normal, but is always possible and the primary reason we will not just cover up. We did have to bring in additional help for re-framing. We installed the glass block window with the vent and the new acrylic surround, tub and DuraCeramic floor.
Basement showers seem to be an area of opportunity in every home. In this Saint Paul basement we updated the shower by installing a new surround and base along with a shower door and new flooring. The homeowner picked out a new pedestal sink and we installed it for them.
We removed the old fiberglass surround to install a new bathtub with surround. We also installed new flooring
Many people are not using their over-sized jetted tubs and are very frustrated by the small shower they use everyday in the master bath. On this renovation we removed a corner tub and installed a nice more standard-sized soaker tub which allowed us room to install a larger shower. All out of the solid-surface Onyx. We also installed flooring and vanity tops to the sink and make-up table. This was such a fun project we did have professional photography taken of this renovation.
One of the most popular projects we take on is removing bathtubs to install new walk-in showers. Fewer people are taking time to take baths, so people are converting to a new shower. A new shower can give easier and safer access to bathing and most people find it feels more spacious.
Before, During & After of a Bathroom Update in Shakopee. The old fiberglass surround was removed and replaced with a beautiful, easy-to-clean acrylic surround and new tub from Bath Planet. A moisture resistant DensShield wall is used behind the new surround. We believe it is important to replace the structural materials behind your tub/shower to make sure you are not just covering up a potential problem.
We removed a bathtub and surround in a 1925 Minneapolis home to install a new acrylic bathtub with surround, flooring and glass block window.
The old fiberglass surround was removed to install a beautiful new Onyx surround with acrylic tub. Both the new tub and surround are solid-surface and will be beautiful and easy to clean.
We removed an original tiled shower from this 1948 home in Minneapolis. The grout had reached the point where it is very difficult to clean and maintain. We installed a new Bath Planet Acrylic surround in Valencia Granite with a White Acrylic Neo-angle Shower Base. We also replaced the vanity and installed new flooring
We removed the old tile surround and bathtub. We installed a new Onyx Surround and Acrylic Bathtub. The old surround did not go all the way to the ceiling and the new surround solves the problem of what to do with the patch of drywall that gets all dusty and musty. We also replaced the Vanity Top with a new Onyx Vanity Top with fully integrated bowl
We removed an old one-piece fiberglass tub unit that had been stained by the hard water in Eagan. We installed a new Walk-in Shower. The new shower surround goes all the way to the ceiling, so it will be easier to use & maintain. The acrylic surround and shower base are a solid surface, so hard water will not penetrate the material to stain or discolor it.
